S&D Recruitment Ltd are currently looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant for our client.
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and will have great communication skills. You would also be responsible for payroll and accounting tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Payroll Services, Payroll Administration, and Payroll Management skills
• Knowledge of Payroll Taxes and Accounting
• Checking incoming customer receipts
• Reconciling accounting data and bank accounts
• Creating and maintaining spreadsheets
• Dealing with incoming invoices
• Strong attention to detail and numerical skills
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Assisting with month end tasks
• Compiling reports on sales and other accounting activity for management
• Managing incoming post and ensuring that queries are allocated to the correct department
• General accounting tasks
To be successful you MUST have the following attributes:
• Studying AAT or qualified by experience
• Strong communication skills
• Able to work well as part of a team and on your own
• Good with Excel
• Experience with Sage 200 software (desirable)
This is a full time, permanent position. Working Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
Own transport required due to the location of the company.
