PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
PCS update ( write care Plan & review) and carryout weekly/monthly audits.
• To carryout appraisals of staff, identify training needs.
• Develop proposals to improve the marketing of the Home to maintain high occupancy.
3-4 days Shift Work :
• Assist clients with all aspects of their personal care needs as required including: Bathing, washing, dressing and undressing.
• To be in charge of your team and manage the floor.
• Keep records up to date, ensuring all recording is accurate
• Participate in the homes activities internally and externally
• Participate in training courses as arranged
• Use appropriate infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Provide support to relatives and friends
• Assist in maintaining client records and carryout care audits.
• Attend all training sessions as required
• Liaise with GP, Care Professionals, Local Authorities and other clinical authorities.
• Carryout medications in line with the requirements and medication policy.
• To participate in any other duties which may be required from time to time
KEY SKILLS-QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Personal care
• Reliability
• Record keeping
• Time management
• Experience working as a senior carer in Care Sector or in a Hospital Environment.
• Clinical knowledge or clinical background.
• NVQ 2/3 or equalling qualifications or studying towards a managing career.
Accommodation available on site if required. Hot meal provided on duty. Car park facility available.
No work permits.
