What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a SEND teaching assistant to support pupils with complex needs in the Hub at St. Mary’s Bluecoat CE Primary School. The Hub is a 12 place, Key Stage 2, mainstream-led SEND hub to meet the needs of children with EHC Plans where Social, Emotional, Mental Health (including ASC) are identified as a primary need.
The ideal candidate needs to be patient, with a warm and friendly attitude and have the passion and determination to succeed through challenging situations on a daily basis.
To be considered for this SEND Teaching Assistant position you will need to have experience of working with children with SEND in either a primary school setting or in a specialist provision. You should also have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent qualification.
