Are you passionate about the arts and eager to support the next generation of creative minds? Hawkley Hall High School are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Expressive Arts Technician to join our vibrant and forward-thinking team.
The Role
As our Expressive Arts Technician, you will:
• Support teachers and students in the preparation and use of specialist equipment and materials.
• Set up and maintain audio/visual and ICT equipment for lessons.
• Assist with practical lessons, ensuring a safe and productive environment.
• Manage stock, prepare orders, and maintain departmental records.
• Provide administrative support and contribute to displays and exhibitions.
• Be a key part of the faculty’s creative and collaborative ethos.
What We're Looking For:
Essential:
• GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C or above) or equivalent.
• Level 2 qualification in an arts-related subject.
• Strong IT skills (Microsoft Word & Excel).
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• A proactive, flexible, and team-oriented approach.
• A full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
• Experience in an educational or arts industry setting.
• First Aid training (or willingness to undertake it).
• Basic Health & Safety certification.
