The Governing body and Head Teacher are extremely proud of the school community and are seeking to appoint a class teacher. We welcome applications from teachers who are passionate and sensitive to the needs of working with children from Normanton. Applications from ECT’s will be considered, for the right candidate.

The post requires a teacher who can work as part of an effective, dedicated and committed team. The successful candidate will have high aspirations and be proactive in facilitating quality first learning opportunities for all key groups of children.

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Inspires and enthuses all key groups of children to aim high.
• Has a secure subject knowledge of the Early Years and KS1 curriculum.
• Is proactive in following research led practice to extend continued professional development.
• Works in close collaboration with colleagues as a valued member of a team.
• Offers children creative learning opportunities.
