Are you an experienced mechanical maintenance engineer looking to work on a prestigious commercial office site in the heart of London? We are recruiting for a Shift Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established building services team, supporting both landlord and tenant areas of a high-spec, multi-tenanted property.

Salary & benefits

  • Up to£49K-£51K Per Annum
  • Continental Shift - Days & Nights
  • 25 days holiday entitlement + 8 days bank holiday

Duties

  • Planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance of on-site mechanical plant and plumbing systems
  • AHUs - fault finding and strip downs
  • FCUs - fault finding and strip downs
  • Pumps - Bearings, Mechanical Seals and fault finding
  • Maintenance/routine checks on sprinkler, fire alarm and emergency lighting systems
  • Water Treatment (Tap Tests, Dosing, Cooling Tower Checks, etc).
  • Chilled and hot Water Systems
  • Plumbing maintenance
  • Generators - visual inspections and fault finding
  • Pressurisation units
  • Calorifiers
  • Heat exchangers
  • Replacing copper/lead pipes
  • BMS Operation

Requirements

  • Mechanically qualified to City & Guilds Level 2 or NVQ (or equivalent)
  • Min 2 years building services maintenance experience in commercial office environments
  • Physically fit - able to navigate a high-rise building
  • Client facing - able to work closely with facility manager for the end client
