(See attached)Interview Date: To be confirmedWe are looking for an experienced and adaptable individual to join our new team, as part of STEP Project in Denbighshire.The aim of this project is to provide a better, overall, experience of living in temporary accommodation in Denbighshire, where people are supported to improve their wellbeing and build on their future.STEP will support up to 50 households who currently reside in temporary accommodation. Support will initially begin in existing temporary settings in the borough (B&B), before transitioning into bespoke supported living facilities, as these premises become available.STEP is at the beginning of its journey and we are looking for a unique and talented person who is keen to travel with us.Key Responsibilities:To work as part of a team taking shared responsibility for delivering our programme of holistic and tenancy focused support to families and single people living in temporary emergency accommodation across multiple sites in Rhyl.The successful candidate(s) will be able to:Demonstrate knowledge around homelessness and the key needs experienced by vulnerable homeless people.Demonstrate sound knowledge of the benefits systemsDemonstrate great communication and IT skillsEnjoy working as part of a team and also have the confidence to be self-directed and work alone when needed.Hold the ability to work in sympathy with the spiritual principles of The Salvation ArmyIn order to complete your application please download and read the job profile and any other attachments.In the job profile you will find the criteria required for the role please make sure that you address this in your supporting statement as this forms the basis of our shortlisting.Appointment subject to satisfactory references, proof of right to work in the UK, Enhanced DBS Disclosure check.
