Relief position to cover absence, training and holiday

We are looking for a Relief Mobile Gardener to join our Estate Services Team.

The role will be mobile across Suffolk, providing a gardening and handyperson service for all estates and properties managed by Orwell.

Key Responsibilities:

As part of this role, the key responsibilities include…

  • To cut and trim the communal grassed areas, ensuring edges are neat and tidy. To weed and trim and prune the communal planted areas.
  • Carrying out landscaping improvements and planting of communal spaces in consultation with Head of Estate Services, Mobile Gardening and Hard Landscaping Team Leader
  • Reporting any damage seen to the grounds to the Mobile Gardening and Hard Landscaping Team Leader and Customer Service as soon as possible. To carry out minor repairs as required.
  • Acting as Orwell's representative, ensuring the best possible relationship with customers and any representative bodies.

Person Specification…

  • National Certificate or above in Horticulture or equivalent is desirable
  • PA1 and PA6 is desirable however training will be provided

Due to the nature of this role, a full driving licence is essential
