Are you a SEN Teacher looking for an inspiring new role? Prospero Teaching are working with a Primary SEN School in Hackney who are looking for experienced and qualified teachers to join their team. The Teacher will be responsible for implementing engaging lesson plans, managing classroom behaviour, and fostering communication with both children and their families.

This SEN School in Hackney support students with severe or profound and multiple learning disabilities. The children are at the core of everything they do and they celebrate children's unique and abilities. The school also have multiple therapeutic provisions to support students in all aspects of their care.
Located a short Walk from Dalston.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of the class.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages children to thrive.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, employing strategies for behaviour management to ensure a safe and supportive atmosphere.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress.
- Encourage independence of students where possible.
- To be able to remain calm and work well within a team.
Qualifications
- QTS or equivalent.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Passion for working with children with Special Educational Needs.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Excellent behaviour management.
- Knowledge and understanding of SEN provision and resources including PECs and Team Teach.
