About the role: Equine Yard AssistantActivate Learning have an exciting opportunity for a Casual Equine Yard Assistant to join our team based at Merrist Wood College in Worplesdon, Guildford.You will provide day-to-day care of the horses/ponies on the equine yard and assist with exercise routines for a range of college horses.You will also assist in the delivery of commercial courses or activities, as well as providing supervision of students/visitors when on the college yard.This is a casual position working weekends and academic holiday periods at our Merrist Wood College campus.What do you need to be successful in this role?The successful candidate will have experience of working on a professional equine yard and have an appropriate professional or vocational qualification at Level 3 or above. You will have a BHS Stage 2 Care, Riding, Lunge or be willing to work towards this.
