Substantive
Full Time – 37 hours per week
Band 5 - Salary Range £33,247 - £41,424 per annum (whilst in development role)
Band 6 - Salary Range £41,608 - £50,702 per annum
Distant Islands Allowance of £2,380 per annum
This exciting new role will allow the successful applicant to work alongside the Lead Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) (Cardiology) in the delivery of care across NHS Shetland.
We are seeking an experienced nurse, with previous medical experience who is committed and has a knowledge of evidence based care. You will have excellent communication, IT skills, organisation and teaching skills, together with an enthusiasm to bring new ideas to the service. The ability to work autonomously and within the multidisciplinary team setting is essential.
The post holder will receive full support from the Lead CNS and team and will be given the opportunity to develop and expand their clinical skills to a more advanced level.
On completion of set clinical competencies at Band 5, the post holder will then undertake more advanced training and development as part of the Band 6 aspect of the role – approximately 12 months from appointment.
