Junior Landscape Architect – Bristol – Office based - Competitive Salary of £28, 000 to£32,000 DOE

Are you a talented and passionate Junior Landscape Architect looking to kick-start your career with an international design leader?

International Design Group (IDG) is searching for a creative individual to join our growing team in Bristol! We're a multidisciplinary practice known for crafting innovative masterplans, landscapes, architecture, and golf courses around the world, especially for residential, commercial, and sports communities.

As a Junior Landscape Architect at IDG, you'll dive into diverse and exciting projects. You'll work closely with experienced architects, landscape architects, and master-planners to design incredible spaces from concept to completion. Due to IDG being a very collaborative business, this is a fully office based role.

Key responsibilities of the Junior Landscape Architect:

• Helping to prepare landscape designs and masterplans.
• Creating detailed 2D CAD drawings (masterplans, planting plans, construction details, etc.). We primarily use MicroStation and KeySCAPE, but if you're proficient in AutoCAD, we'll help you learn the ropes!
• Developing 3D models and bringing them to life with visualizations in Lumion.
• Contributing to presentations, brochures, and material palettes.
• Collaborating with our diverse teams to ensure projects meet all requirements.
• Engaging with clients, contractors, and local authorities as needed.
• Keeping up to date with the latest trends in landscape architecture and sustainability.

We're looking for someone with:

• A degree in Landscape Architecture, and ideally, some professional experience.
• Strong creative and technical skills with a solid grasp of landscape design principles.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD knowledge is great, and we'll teach you MicroStation/KeySCAPE).
• Experience with SketchUp and other 3D modeling software.
• Skills in creating 3D renderings and animations using Lumion.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop are key!).
• An understanding of design documentation standards and the ability to work with technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce precise work.
• Great communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
• A true passion for creating modern, innovative designs.

What’s on offer?

• A competitive salary of £28, 000 to£32,000 dependent on experience.
• Company pension scheme.
• Working hours: 9:00 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday.
• The chance to work on truly exciting international projects.
• A friendly and creative work environment.
• Plenty of room for professional growth and development in the industry.
