A rare opportunity has opened for a Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse to step into a pivotal leadership role. This is more than just a nursing role – it’s a chance to guide, shape, and elevate clinical standards in a highly supportive, collaborative team dynamic.
The RoleThis position combines hands-on nursing excellence with team leadership and operational oversight. Working closely with clinical directors and practice leaders, the Senior RVN will:

Lead nursing staff: Coordinate workflows, supervise day-to-day operations, and ensure best-in-class inpatient and surgical care

Mentor and train: Support student nurses and care assistants, enhancing their clinical growth

Maintain standards: Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, infection control, and patient safety across departments

Act as client liaison: Ensure pet owners are informed, supported, and confident in the care their pets receive

Model professionalism: Represent the team’s values through compassionate service and outstanding nursing practice
You’ll also deputise for the Head Nurse during periods of absence, offering an excellent career progression pathway.
This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and wants to lead by example – both clinically and culturally and is required to bridge the gap between the clinical and none clinical team
