As a Tech Bar IT Support Engineer, you will be the go-to expert for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues while providing clear and insightful IT advice to users. You'll work directly with employees, ensuring they receive timely support and guidance in a friendly, approachable, and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

Investigate and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, ensuring fast and effective resolutions.

Provide responsive IT support, addressing a wide range of user queries related to software applications, system performance, and general technology concerns.

Deliver exceptional customer service, fostering a welcoming environment at the Tech Bar and offering clear, actionable solutions.

Maintain a strong understanding of current technologies, continuously updating your knowledge to provide informed assistance.

Accurately interpret non-technical fault descriptions, translating them into actionable troubleshooting steps.

Work efficiently under pressure, managing multiple tasks while ensuring quality and consistency.

Follow established processes for issue resolution, asset management, and documentation.

Prioritise effectively, balancing urgent needs with ongoing support requests

Act as a key advocate for the Tech Bar ethos-providing accessible, friendly, and reliable IT support when users need it most.

Essential Skills & Experience

Outstanding customer-facing skills-personable, friendly, and attentive with a professional, approachable demeanour.

Excellent communication-able to articulate technical solutions clearly to users at all levels.

Strong listening and problem-solving abilities, with a keen ability to interpret

Non-technical descriptions of IT issues.

Self-motivated and eager to learn, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of emerging technology trends.

Highly patient and adaptable, capable of handling varied technical challenges with composure.

Experience working under pressure, balancing multiple support requests efficiently.

Dell and HP hardware accreditation (Laptop & Desktop) is required.
