Help transform lives like J’s.
Beacon House is an 8 bedded service based in Cranhill, Glasgow. We support 8 individuals with learning disabilities live life to the fullest.
Hi, I’m J and I reside in the Beacon House Project with 7 other people. I have a learning disability, and physical conditions which affect my health.
I love music and it is a special interest of mine. I enjoy taking part in music class, listening to music and playing my guitar.
I like to be the boss, and I regularly attend my club at the Glenburn where I help the staff, play bingo and have a nice lunch.
I am a huge Celtic fan and season ticket holder; I love to watch the games whether it be at Celtic Park or by watching on TV.
When it comes to supporting me, I require someone who can support me to do all the things I enjoy, share my good morals and values and promote my independence. I enjoy having a bit of banter and good conversation.
Are you ready to make a real difference to me and people like me?
