Job Title: Bonder
Location: Blackwood
Salary: £28,000 per annum + shift allowance £82.76 per week so works out £4303.52
Hours: Full time, days regular , must be willing to work afternoon shifts aswell
Here at The Recruitment Co, we are recruiting a Bonder to work for a company based in Blackwood on a permanent contract
The facility currently have a vacancy for a qualified/experienced Bonder
Key Responsibilities and Scope of Authority:
- Experience in performing metal bonding and composite fabrication / bonding, lay out, pre-fit and assembly operations
- Mechanical disassembly / assembly in an aircraft, automotive environment.
- Must be able to use hand tools (drills, die grinders, rivet guns, fastener installation tools, hand shears, etc)
- Ability to read and follow work instructions; document work performed; use Process Specifications, Engineering Work Orders, OEM Manuals, Blueprints.
Position Requirements:
- Previous bonding experience in an aircraft manufacturing environment preferred.
- Previous experience of working in sheet metal.
- Must have excellent communication skills verbal and written, to read manufacturer's specifications, manuals, and part specific planning.
- Must have the ability to document in writing, the work performed on the order.
- Arithmetic and English (reading, writing) skills and able to follow written instructions with precision and have a high attention to detail
- Must possess computer skills to access repair documents on the websites, use in house applications for production
