Preferred days/times:
To be agreed with PA and client
Tasks/duties:
To support the client going out in the community
Some continence care required
PA to have own vehicle and full, clean, driving licence
Family will pay mileage
Client main diagnosis:
Vascular dementia
Schizophrenia
Previous psychotic episodes (many years ago)
The client is on Lithium which is monitored every four months
They do not exhibit challenging behaviours
Manual Handling
None
Pets
None
Communication:
No communication barriers
Client enjoys:
speaking to people and being occupied. They are a volunteer for a charity one day a week (with support) and enjoy gardening and singing. Their family is very important to them
This opportunity is suited for someone who is responsible, reliable, patient, and proactive and who is respectful of others’ privacy, dignity, values, and beliefs

An enhanced DBS certificate is applicable to this role.
DBS paid for by funding authority, (if you don’t already have a certificate).
Role subject to interview and references.
