Summary
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct visual inspections, test drives, and use diagnostic equipment to identify engine and mechanical faults
Remove, dismantle, repair, and replace defective vehicle parts using appropriate tools and techniques
Prepare and fit new parts, reassemble components, and test systems to ensure proper operation
Perform routine maintenance checks on key systems, including oil and air filters, brakes, and fluid levels
Diagnose faults in electrical and electronic systems, replace faulty components, and conduct thorough servicing
Check and maintain the condition of vehicle electrical systems, ensuring all components function correctly
Install additional electrical features such as audio systems, aerials, and other accessories
Repair and service air conditioning, heating, and engine cooling systems
Requirements:
Proven experience as an automotive technician or similar role
Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
Familiarity with modern vehicle electronics and diagnostic tools
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant automotive certification or trade qualification preferred
