Fixed Electrical Engineer
Carry out EICRs and repairs to domestic properties across the MOD estates
Duties & Responsibilities
• Responsible for carrying out domestic and commercial EICRs across the MOD estates in Edinburgh and Leuchars
• Carrying out EICR repairs within SLA times
• Providing support to the PPM team and repairs
• Must be competent in fault finding and carrying out PPM tasks
• Using NICEIC software for fixed electrical reports
• Compliance with contractual requirements.
• Client satisfaction and the quality of service provided.
• Responsibility for the undertaking and execution of all operations under their remit and reporting directly to the Operations Manager
• Ensuring the company systems are implemented in a manner, which fully complies with all legal, qualitative, health, safety and environmental standards and other relevant guidance.
• Ensuring, demonstrate, review and monitor compliance, to meet the expectation and needs of the Client, the quality and organisational goals of the company and satisfy the requirements of BS EN IS0 9001:2000
• Monitoring and professional oversight of works as directed by their line manager to ensure satisfactory quality levels.
• Developing the competency of them through a commitment to continuing professional development.
• Participation in a 24-hour 7 day per week on call service
Skills
• A full clean driving license.
• Fully Qualified Electrician
• 2391 Inspection and Testing
• Capable of working unsupervised
Hours of work will normally be Mon – Fri: 08.00 – 16:30
