Contract: Permanent, full time, Monday to Friday

Are you a Civil Engineer who is looking to take the next step in their career?

We are growing the team in our new Durham office and there is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our multi-discipline workforce.

You will be part of the Engineering team, playing an important part in the work we do, overseeing building schemes and working collaboratively with other disciplines efficiently and effectively. You will use your engineering knowledge and experience to take on important elements of design on the various projects Align works on from schools and public buildings to refurbishments and new homes.

To be successful in this position, you will:

Hold a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent with significant post-qualification experience
Be a Chartered Engineer as a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers or currently working towards chartership.
Be skilled in preparing detailed designs and specifications using PDS and/or Civils 3D, AutoCAD, Micro-Drainage/Flow etc
Demonstrate competency in the conceptual and detailed design of infrastructure projects, including earthworks, roads and drainage
Have a working knowledge of relevant UK standards, adoptable standards and building regulations
Be IT proficient, including the use of Microsoft packages
Hold a full UK driving license
