We are seeking a Safety Systems Installer to join our team. This position offers competitive pay, training, and opportunities for progression.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation of Safety Systems: Install handrails and safety lifelines on Roof Tops, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Site Liaison: Communicate directly with clients and site managers, addressing any queries or concerns in a professional manner.
Team Collaboration: Work efficiently as part of a team to ensure jobs are completed on time and to a high standard.
Problem Solving: Demonstrate initiative and the ability to think outside the box when faced with challenges on-site.
Travel: Travel to various sites nationwide, with some work based in London.
Safety Compliance: Maintain a high standard of safety on-site at all times and follow all relevant health and safety protocols.
Key Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience in the construction industry and outdoor work is advantageous, though full training will be provided.
Skills: Excellent timekeeping, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Health & Safety: Knowledge of safety standards and construction protocols is preferred.
License: A full, clean driving licence is required (for insurance purposes) and applicants must be over 21 years of age.
Personal Attributes: A fear of heights would be a disadvantage due to the nature of the work.
Location Considerations: Due to the early start (5.30 am at the yard), applicants should be able to travel to the yard without relying on public transport.
Additional Information:
Induction Training: A paid induction training day will be provided to ensure you are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
Bonus Scheme: Once you pass the initial probation period, you will be eligible for our company bonus scheme.
Weekend Work: Occasionally, weekend work may be offered with an enhanced pay rate. This is non-obligatory.
Uniform and Tools: Full uniform and tools will be provided, along with ongoing training updates to ensure your skills remain current.
