We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join a beautifully appointed care home that supports up to 106 residents. This role is more than just a job—it is a chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals living with age-related conditions such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s.
In this rewarding position, you will be a vital part of each resident’s daily routine, providing compassionate support with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and hygiene. Your care will help promote dignity, comfort, and overall well-being. You will also contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment by completing housekeeping tasks, following health and safety procedures, and accurately documenting any changes in residents’ conditions or incidents for senior staff.
To be considered, you must hold a practical moving and handling certificate dated within the last six months, ensuring you are ready to provide safe, effective care from day one.
If you are committed to delivering high-quality care and want to be part of a supportive, professional team, we would love to hear from you.
To be suitable for this position, you must have an Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months, up-to-date mandatory training—including practical moving and handling training dated within the past 6 months—a referenceable work history covering a minimum of three years, and at least three months of previous experience within a UK-based care home setting.
If you do not currently have a valid DBS or up-to-date training, don’t worry—we can help. We offer online training at a subsidised fee, and the certificates are yours to keep.
Please note that we do not offer sponsorships for this role.
