We are currently recruiting experienced Care Assistants for night shifts at a modern, purpose-built care home in Aylestone, Leicester. This 60-bed facility offers a welcoming environment with excellent amenities, including a therapy suite, café, and hair salon. It is also easily accessible via public transport.
In this role, you will support residents throughout the night with personal care, mobility assistance (including repositioning), and responding to call alarms. You will also help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment, ensuring residents feel secure and well cared for during the night hours.
A practical moving and handling certificate dated within the last six months is required to apply.
If you have regular night shift experience and bring a warm, caring attitude—even in the quiet hours—we would love to hear from you!
To be suitable for this position, you must have an Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months, up-to-date mandatory training—including practical moving and handling training dated within the past 6 months—a referenceable work history covering a minimum of three years, and at least three months of previous experience within a UK-based care home setting.
If you do not currently have a valid DBS or up-to-date training, don’t worry—we can help. We offer online training at a subsidised fee, and the certificates are yours to keep.
Please note that we do not offer sponsorships for this role.
This role offers ongoing opportunities for the right candidate
Typical hours are 20:00 to 08:00 with requirements on various days from Monday to Sunday.
You will be paid £12.21 per hour
