We are seeking experienced Care Assistants for weekend shifts at a modern, 60-bed care home in Aylestone, Leicester. With excellent facilities and strong public transport links, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a supportive environment.
In this role, you will assist residents with personal care, mobility (including the use of hoists and rotundas), repositioning, and general comfort. You will also help maintain a clean, safe environment while following individualised care plans to ensure each resident receives the support they need.
A valid practical moving and handling certificate dated within the last six months is essential.
If you are compassionate, outgoing, and naturally connect with others, we would love to hear from you.
To be suitable for this position, you must have an Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months, up-to-date mandatory training—including practical moving and handling training dated within the past 6 months—a referenceable work history covering a minimum of three years, and at least three months of previous experience within a UK-based care home setting.
If you do not currently have a valid DBS or up-to-date training, don’t worry—we can help. We offer online training at a subsidised fee, and the certificates are yours to keep.
Please note that we do not offer sponsorships for this role.
