The Role
We are seeking an individual who is passionate about improving outcomes for children and families.
We are looking for someone who can engage with families with young children, build relationships and providing support to access childcare, focusing on our most vulnerable 2year olds in Tameside
The post will work in Tameside Family Hubs alongside the Early Years and Family Intervention teams and work will be both within the Family hub network and out in the community.
Alongside promoting childcare opportunities, the postholder will also support families to connect with Family Hubs, access activities and provide small intervention work in the home or community where there are barriers to accessing support.
The role will also include capturing parent voice and ensuring this influences and shapes service delivery
About You
Ideally we would like the outreach worker to have some experience of working within the Early Years sector and have a good understanding of child development
To help meet the needs of our children and families, we need you to be passionate and enthusiastic and be able to build relationships,
We would like someone who is happy to work in a flexible way as the postholder will work across the Family Hub Network, and out in the community and be able to connect with a wider range of agencies and professionals
