An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the East Riding Therapy Team, as a Generic Therapy Associate Practitioner. You will work as part of a Multi-disciplinary team to provide Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy input to patients who require rehabilitation on the East Riding Community Ward.
Candidates must have knowledge of working with either Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy. The role requires the post holder to to operate as part of a dynamic team and will be required to work independently in carrying out therapy assessments and treatments and supporting therapists in delivering a high quality and effective service.
You should be empathetic, have excellent communication and listening skills and the ability to support and motivate others to achieve their potential. It would be helpful for you to have had experience of working with people with physical problems within the community or hospital settings and essential that you are a car driver and have basic IT skills.
You will be supported by a well-established and very experienced Multidisciplinary Team and will receive supervision and support from the Advanced Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist.
