Our Balfour Beatty Highways business has a terrific opportunity for a Handover Coordinator for our Production Hub.
What you'll be doing
As a Handover Coordinator, you will be accountable to the Highways Handover Lead and responsible to the project for coordinating the production and submission of handover deliverables, used to provide technical assurance evidence to the Client. Furthermore, responsible to produce the package completion certificates which will progressively certify the completion of the assets to the required standard throughout the construction and commissioning phases of the project.

- Ensure handover deliverables are processed through the Balfour Beatty OCRA process (Originator/Checker/Reviewer/Approver) and have input from the required Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Conduct compliance checks on technical documents and operational records to verify the accuracy of information.
- Expedite documents/records/data by synchronising and facilitating the flow of information between the various stakeholders.
- Offer advice, support, technical and contractual assistance to any and all interested parties on handover requirements.
- Ensure effective stakeholder engagement and communication throughout delivery.
Who we're looking for
The following qualities/experience are essential;
- Strong working experience with Quality Management Systems and working within records management on a complex infrastructure project.
- Excellent track record developed over previous experience/knowledge of processes covering the control of documented information including output of service and product provision (e.g. traceability and preservation of records and certificates)
- Strong working knowledge of UK and international standards (i.e. ISO 9001 and 19650)
- Advanced information technology skills
- Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills – able to build and maintain strong relationships, communicate and influence at all levels
