Scale 4 (Point 4:7) 30.83 hours per week fixed term contract (term time only)
Annual salary : £30,987 per annum (pro-rata) Actual Salary : £23,695

An exciting opportunity to join our dedicated Learning Support Department, the appointed candidates will be able to demonstrate a willingness to be flexible and adaptable as part of a busy and committed support team. The successful candidates will need to be skilled in working with young people with social, emotional and mental health difficulties that significantly affect learning. Our LSAs work closely with teachers to support young people with a range of learning needs to enhance their learning across the curriculum both on a 1:1 basis and in small groups and would be able to enthuse and motivate, bringing creativity and initiative to the role. Ability to support high level learning in English and/or Mathematics an advantage. In return we offer the opportunity to become part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team where you can develop your skills as a valued member of our staff. Experience working with young people with autism, preferred but not essential.
