The Opportunity:1:1 LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT FOR CHILDREN WITH SENSalary Range:
Grade - Sc1C/3 Spine Point 02 (£27,345 FTE Outer London 2024 - 2025) (£19,098.11 pro rata 2024 - 2025) per annumWorking pattern: Monday to Friday 8:30-15:30 term time only (38 weeks)
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a committed, flexible and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant practitioner to join our team, providing key SEN support within the classroom and centre, working closely with other teaching staff to ensure provision is effective and that learning needs are met. This position requires you to work 5 days a week, 08:30-15:30, for 38 weeks a year. An unpaid lunch break will also be provided. This role may include:
• Work in EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
• Working closely with staff, assisting in the day-to-day running of the school.
• Work with small groups of children on reinforcement and enrichments tasks.

What we are looking for:As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll provide personalised SEN provision, supporting students in accessing the curriculum at an appropriate level and adapting the learning to make it accessible for students with specific needs. This role also involves providing pastoral support, and you’ll monitor progress to feed back to the class teacher whilst working closely with relevant staff to ensure an individual can achieve to the fullest extent. Job requirements:• Experience of supporting pupils with SEN and utilising strategies to manage behaviours and meet needs, including supporting speech and language
• Awareness of Child Safeguarding and the latest SEN policies to implement effective provision, including working with outside agencies to deliver EHCP provisions
