We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and committed Midwife to join our friendly and growing team at West Herts as St Albans Community Team Lead Midwife.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Midwife who is looking for a new challenge in management and leadership, focusing on delivering exceptional care and support to staff and service users.

The post holder will be the key clinical leader for community midwifery services in St Albans supporting the Community and Birth Centre Matron in ensuring the highest standard of midwifery practice and clinical care is delivered.

The post holder will have a duty to enhance service user and staff experience; provide effective operational leadership and management; and contribute to the delivery of the organisation’s objectives.

With a new hospital planned for Watford and work underway to update theatres at St Albans City Hospital, this is an exciting time to join us.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Community Team Leader to join the friendly and dynamic team here in West Hertfordshire. The post holder will have management responsibility for the services provided in a community setting. This will include management of resources, audit and quality monitoring, data collection, clinical leadership and deployment of staff. The post holder will work to create an environment where the service-user is central to all decision making and the delivery of high-quality compassionate care is everyone’s priority
