Graduate Teaching Assistant – The Role

• Earn up to £550 per week
• Full-time, long-term Graduate Teaching Assistant role
• Work across KS3 and KS4 classes, supporting in core subjects including English, Maths, and Science
• Deliver tailored 1:1 and small-group interventions to boost attainment
• Collaborate with teaching staff to prepare learning materials and activities
• Build positive relationships with students and act as a role model
• Support pupils with SEN and/or EAL needs as required
• Assist with classroom behaviour management and student engagement

Graduate Teaching Assistant – Person Specification

• Minimum 2:1 degree in any subject (English, Maths, Science or Psychology particularly desirable)
• A passion for education and working with young people
• A patient, adaptable and enthusiastic attitude
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience with young people (mentoring, tutoring, coaching) is advantageous but not essential
