We are currently recruiting for a Support Assistant to join our Home-Based Care team on a 6-month fixed term contract.

We have an opportunity for 16 hours, currently supporting 7 clients in their own homes between Shoebury & Leigh-On-Sea so a driver with access to their own vehicle is required for this role. Please note, travel time is paid instead of milage.

Support is currently delivered Tuesday– Friday, between 9-5 but flexibility is needed for the hours to be split across Monday – Friday with the occasional weekend.

Having recently been successful in securing new care packages there is potential for this role to be permanent and likely an increase in hours (if desired).

The role will involve working flexibly across the community. You’ll be supporting people with a range of needs including:

Assistance with finances and budgeting
Help with shopping and daily living
Support with mental health and emotional wellbeing

What We’re Looking For:

Adaptable, proactive people who are passionate to make a real impact

Compassionate and reliable individuals

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently

In Return, We Offer:

A generous health cash plan

31 days (FTE) of annual leave (including bank holidays)

A competitive pension scheme

A supportive and inclusive work environment

Join us and be part of a team that truly makes a difference

Full training will be provided, someone new to the sector can fulfil this role following a successful interview, we will then support the successful applicant to complete the Care Certificate within their probation.

Apply today and take the next step in a fulfilling career with Estuary Housing Care and Support Team.

The successful applicants will be required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK. Please note that at this time, we're unable to accept applications from candidates who require visa/work permit sponsorship. We appreciate your understanding and we welcome applications from all candidates who are eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
