Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and practically minded Driver / Handyman to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to navigate various routes while adhering to all traffic regulations. This is a hands-on and varied role that involves the daily delivery and collection of a wide and diverse range of equipment—no two days are the same. A background in warehouse operations and mechanical knowledge would be advantageous. Competent & experienced in driving a 7.5t lorry - CPC not required as driving a 7.5t lorry would be less than 30% of your rolling monthly work.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out scheduled deliveries and collections using various vehicles.
Ensure the safe loading, unloading, and securing of various equipment types
Assist with basic equipment maintenance and minor handyman tasks as required.
Keep accurate records of deliveries and collections.
Uphold high safety and customer service standards at all times.
Support the team with general site tasks as needed.

Requirements:

Competent & experienced in driving a 7.5t lorry - CPC not required as driving a 7.5t lorry would be less than 30% of your rolling monthly work.

A practical and hands-on approach to work.

Dependability, initiative, and a strong work ethic.

Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £32,000.00 per year
