Crynodeb
In terms of direct clinical care, 4 sessions: The post holder will provide clinical leadership to the Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDTs) providing the Initial Health Assessments (IHAs) and Review Health Assessments (RHAs) for children in care. This is a legal requirement that must be conducted within 20 working days of a child being 'looked after'. The purpose of the assessment is to identify existing health conditions, immunisation status and other health related needs. with the MDT to carry out the medical component of the assessment to cover the childrens physical health, mental well-being and developmental milestones. The post holder would be required to travel to multiple sites across the SCFT footprint and be competent in the use of virtual consultation. Applicants must have full GMC Registration and a Licence to Practice. Certificate of Completion of Training in General Practice or equivalent and inclusion on the GMC GP Register (or within 6 months at time of interview).
