We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Senior Nurse Leader who has energy and passion to make sustainable improvements, leading teams delivering safe, effective, compassionate care to our population, developing strong relationships with system partners, with specialist knowledge in the field of discharge.
We are seeking a Discharge Matron with the right values, commitment and energy to support our journey within Aintree University Hospital.
You will be joining a passionate, motivated team working in a busy, fast-paced environment offering the opportunity to lead, innovate, develop, improve and showcase.
• Provide senior management /clinical leadership to a team
working as ‘Complex Discharge Practitioners’
• Support the integration agenda, working closely with teams
across the ‘LUHFT footprint’
• Provide strategic leadership for the management of throughput
ensuring access targets are consistently achieved.
• The post holder will interpret national and other guidance as
necessary, putting such guidance into operation as required.
• To work collaboratively with Site Management Team to develop
operational objectives which are consistent with Trust corporate
objectives.
• To develop and lead on operational systems that deliver timely
discharges.
• To work with clinical teams in actively managing and reducing
length of stay.
