As aStudent Health Visitor, you will: Engage in training to complete theBSc (Hons) Degree/Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Community Public Health (SCPHN – Health Visiting).

Balance 50% theoretical learningwith50% hands-on practical experiencein community health settings .

Workwithin a multidisciplinary team, liaising withHealth Visitors, Public Health Associates, Administration Officers, patients, carers, and other professionals

Carry outclinical duties, supporting families and delivering essential public health services

Gainexposure to mandated Health Visitor contacts, ensuring seamless progression to thePostgraduate Diploma (PGD) SCPHN training in Health Visiting

A motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse or Midwifepassionate aboutchild and family healthExcellent teamwork and communication skills, enabling collaboration within theRoyal Wolverhampton NHS TrustCommitment to training, learning, and making a lasting impact on community health A valid driver’s license and daily access to a carfor travel within Wolverhampton
