Job description
We are seeking reliable and dedicated School Transport Drivers to join our team to cover school runs across Norfolk and Suffolk. The successful candidate will be transporting Special Educational needs children and adults by ensuring their well-being during the transit.
This Job is ideal for Semi Retired People
Key Responsibilities:
1. Student Transportation:
Safely drive students to and from school according to the established schedule.
2. Route Management:
Plan and follow designated routes, ensuring timely arrival and departure.
3. Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations, ensuring the safety of all passengers.
4. Vehicle Maintenance:
Conduct regular checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly.
5. Communication:
Maintain communication with school staff and our office team regarding any changes in schedules or routes.
6. Student Supervision:
Monitor students during transit, ensuring they are seated and behaving appropriately.
7. Emergency Preparedness:
Be prepared to handle emergencies, including medical situations or breakdowns, with a calm and efficient response.
8. Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records any incidents that occur during transport.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Applicant Must have held DVLA Driving Licence for minimum of 2 year.
2. Valid UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points
3. Successful Applicants will have Enhanced DBS checked ( Clean DBS is a must )
4. Must be able to drive the fleet of vehicle varying from standards 4 passenger seats to 8 passenger seats.
5. First aid certification is a plus.
