Crynodeb
The post-holder will provide safe, effective, and responsive general medical services to our patient population, managing a varied caseload and working alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team. They will deliver care aligned with the GMCs good medical practice standards and participate in the wider development and governance of the practice. Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties Deliver high-quality, patient-centred clinical care across booked and same-day consultations Manage patients with long-term conditions in line with QOF and local pathways Conduct telephone triage as part of the shared rota Prescribe in line with local and national guidelines (generic where possible) Complete documentation, coding, repeat prescribing, referrals, and results in a timely manner Undertake clinical audits and contribute to quality improvement initiatives Support and supervise clinical learners and junior staff Governance & Service Development Adhere to practice clinical protocols and participate in significant event audits, complaints handling, and clinical risk reviews Contribute to achieving QOF, enhanced services, and practice development plans Attend and actively contribute to team and clinical meetings Lead or support projects relevant to QOF, ICB, or CQC as appropriate Collaborative Working Work closely with clinical and non-clinical team members to ensure continuity of care and shared management of the practice workload Develop and maintain effective working relationships with partner organisations Champion inclusive and equitable care, promoting patient dignity, safety, and confidentiality
