We’re now seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder with production management and team leadership experience. To reflect these added responsibilities, we are offering up to £18.00 per hour for the right candidate.

  Role Overview:

  This is a hands-on role in a busy workshop, suited to someone confident in welding, fabrication, and leading a small team. You’ll work with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium using MIG and TIG, operate a brake press, and help deliver high-quality components.

  Key Responsibilities:

  • MIG & TIG welding (1mm–20mm thickness)

    
    

  • Fabrication of steel, stainless steel & aluminium parts

    
    

  • Brake press operation

    
    

  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

    
    

  • Maintaining timesheets and promoting workshop safety

    
    

  • Leading a small team and supporting production targets

    
    

  • Opportunity to train on CNC and laser equipment

    
    ✅ Required Skills & Experience:

    • Proven MIG & TIG welding experience

      
      

    • Ability to read and work from technical drawings

      
      

    • Strong background in fabrication and brake press use

      
      

    • Team leadership or supervisory experience in a workshop setting

      
      

    • Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented

      
      

    • Good communication and problem-solving skills
