Nursery Practitioner (Salary: Up to £27,622.40 per annum)
Our 41 place nursery, has good transport options and local shops close by. The nursery was originally built by the Countess of Meath due to the overcrowding of the existing village school, and closed in 1967 when the building was turned into a restaurant. We promote a home-from-home feel within the setting and work closely as a team, with an OFSTED rating of ‘Good’
This role is open to those with an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare. Please be advised if you do not possess a full and relevant qualification or experience within the childcare sector your application will not be considered.

Key tasks and responsibilities:
• Ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery by adhering to the relevant policies and procedures.
• Using your knowledge, experience and imagination to come up with new ideas and activities.
• Building relationships with children and communicating well with their parents.
• Making sure every working day is fun!
Your qualifications and experience:
• Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, and the ability to refer to the EYFS Framework when planning activities.
• To be aware of the role of planning, observation and keeping records when caring for nursery aged children.
• Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and meeting their needs.
• A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
