We are seeking an experienced and passionate Tandoori Chef to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes using a traditional tandoor oven. This includes tasks such as chopping, marinating, and grilling meats, as well as preparing authentic tandoori breads such as naan, roti, and kulcha.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook dishes in the tandoor oven to a high standard.
• Marinate and grill meats, ensuring consistent flavour and presentation.
• Create traditional tandoori breads including naan, kulcha, and roti.
• Maintain the tandoor oven, ensuring it remains clean, safe, and fully operational.
• Comply with all health and safety, hygiene, and food safety regulations.
• Take pride in crafting visually appealing and authentic tandoori items.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 3 years' proven experience working as a Tandoori Chef.
• Passion and skill in preparing traditional tandoori breads, particularly Kulcha Naan.
• Basic level of school education.
• A strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
• Excellent time management and teamwork skills.
Working Hours:
• 39 hours per week.
• Monday to Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
