What the school offers its staff
Humanities at Outwood Academy Carlton
We are a faculty of 8, consisting of 4 History and 4 Geography teachers. We are passionate about the subjects we teach and always put our students first. The Humanities team is situated in the same block, allowing the team to work closely together. We have state of the art smart boards in each of our rooms and access to a central computing area. At Outwood Academy Carlton you will find an extremely supportive and close faculty, who are excited to welcome a new colleague to our team.
Geography:
Geography helps you make sense of the world around you. As a team our goal is to create students who have a curiosity for the world around them and want to make it a better place. As Michael Palin said "geography students hold the key to the world's problems". We love our subject and are keen to develop the geographers of the future.
