What You’ll Bring:
- Level 3 in Early Years or equivalent – essential
- Proven experience in a senior role within a nursery or early years setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS and early years best practice
- Confident leadership, communication, and team development skills
- A passion for fostering a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment
- A proactive approach to maintaining high standards across the setting
Your Key Responsibilities:
As the Deputy Nursery Manager, you will play a vital leadership role, supporting the Nursery Manager to ensure the smooth, compliant, and high-quality running of the nursery.
Key duties include:
- Assisting in the daily management of the nursery, including staff supervision, curriculum planning, and safeguarding practices
- Leading by example in delivering high-quality early years education and care
- Supporting the Nursery Manager in maintaining compliance with Ofsted regulations and all statutory requirements
- Mentoring and coaching team members to support their professional growth
- Contributing to the development of engaging, inclusive educational programmes tailored to individual needs
- Building strong, positive relationships with families and supporting effective parent partnerships
