What Will You Be Doing?



* Learn to complete a full range of internal and external painting and decorating tasks, including wallpapering, artexing, and
remedial work.
* Train in the correct use of tools, equipment, and materials while working efficiently and safely.
* Develop skills to plan and organise tasks effectively, following company timeframes and standards.
* Operate within scheduled appointments and liaise with customers and team members.
* Gain experience in assessing work, measuring, and making informed repair decisions within guidelines.
* Use IT systems for instructions, work orders, communication, and material ordering.
* Learn to manage van stock efficiently and minimise material waste.
* Follow all health and safety procedures and report incidents or breaches promptly.
* Work with other teams and contractors to ensure smooth and complete job delivery.
* Meet quality, customer service, and performance expectations.
* Participate in training and development, including the company’s competency programme.
* Attend college and complete all apprenticeship-related assessments.
* Support wider team duties and take on additional tasks as required.






What We’re Looking For:



* Applicants must have a minimum of four GCSEs at grades 2–3 (D–F), including Maths and English, or a Level 1 vocational
qualification plus GCSEs at grade 3/D or above in both Maths and English. English and Maths Functional Skills Level 1 will also
be accepted as an alternative to GCSEs. Please note: All potential apprentices will be asked to complete an online Functional
Skills assessment, regardless of previous qualifications. For apprentices aged 19 and over at the start of their
apprenticeship, English and Maths qualifications are no longer mandatory in England. However, a basic assessment will still be
required to ensure suitability for the course.

* Excellent time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
* Good IT skills and the ability to use communication tools effectively.
* A customer-focused attitude and the ability to work well in a team.

* A commitment to obtaining a full UK driving licence by the end of your apprenticeship






Assessment Day



Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an assessment day to further evaluate their skills and suitability for the
apprenticeship. Assessment days will take place during the week commencing 9th July 2025.







College or Training Organisation



All our apprentices are enrolled in a local college in Liverpool, Warrington, or St Helens. Due to capacity limits, placements may
be assigned to any of these colleges.






Your Training Plan



You will receive both on-the-job and off-the-job training, following a detailed induction and training plan. You will attend
college on a day-release basis. Upon successful completion, you will earn the Level 2/3 Qualification in this area.






During Your Apprenticeship



You will work across our three main vibrant heartlands – Liverpool, Warrington, and St Helens and surrounding areas, where you’ll
rotate through a variety of dynamic workstreams, gaining hands-on experience and building a broad foundation of knowledge along
the way.
