Crynodeb
To provide specialist clinical treatments/advice, including nail surgery, domiciliary visits, basic wound care, basic biomechanical assessments and the provision of chairside insoles etc. (under an agreed period of mentorship). Develop, implement and evaluate care plans in conjunction with service users, carers and other professionals, ensuring individual needs are met. Working with patients who are either at risk or high risk of foot complications or who require specialist podiatry care packages due to chronic diseases/pathologies (e.g. diabetes, connective tissue disorders). With colleagues and service manager, plan, co-ordinate, deliver and evaluate the clinical needs of the service relating to the requirements of the patient and stakeholder.
