Summary

Functional Skills Maths & English Teacher

Hourly Rate: £30-£35 per hour (PAYE, case dependent)
Location: Bournemouth and surrounding areas
Schedule: Monday to Friday | Term-Time Only
Hours: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM (flexible)
Focus: One-to-One Teaching | Functional Skills | SEN, SEMH, Medical Needs

About the Role

We're looking for a passionate and adaptable Functional Skills Teacher to deliver one-to-one Maths and English sessions to students with additional needs. You'll be working with learners who require a more personalised approach due to SEN, SEMH, or medical challenges-helping them build essential skills for everyday life and future independence.

Your Responsibilities

Deliver tailored Functional Skills lessons (Entry Level to Level 2) in Maths and English

What We're Looking For

QTS or equivalent (e.g. , PGCE)

Minimum 2 years' experience teaching Functional Skills
