PLEASE NOTE THIS POST WILL ALSO BE BASED IN MEARNS CASTLE HIGH SCHOOL (IN ADDTION TO EASTWOOD HIGH SCHOOL)

To provide a Multimedia Technician service within the school. To undertake first line maintenance and repair service for all multimedia and computing related equipment. To operate ICT equipment and utilise software systems as required for the use of multimedia equipment within the school.

An HNC equivalent in a multimedia related subject is essential and an advanced qualification would be desirable.

On completion of additional years of service by 1 January of each year, following the anniversary of the date of appointment, your term time salary will be adjusted to include a payment in lieu of the additional leave day accrued at the beginning of each leave year for the first 10 years of service.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. It is an offence therefore to apply if you are barred from working with children. In addition to this, if you have lived or worked in any country outside the UK in the past 10 years, there may be a requirement for an overseas police check.
