Saiva Munnetta Sangam is currently recruiting for the Hindu (Tamil speaking) Two Religious worker/ Temple Assistant in non-pastoral role with immediate start.
Successful candidate must be able to assist the activities in conducting Religious work of the Chief Priest of our Chidambareswarar Temple.
Help him in the performance of Hindu / Saiva rituals and other activities connected thereto as directed by the Chief Priest. Helping with Madapalli(cooking prasadam) duties, Garland making, and other day to day ceremonies of non – pastoral role in accordance with Hindu / Saiva traditions.
For the avoidance of doubt, will not have any kind of core duties of leading a congregation in performing the rites, and ceremonies of the Hindu faith and / or preaching the essentials of the creed.
Additional information - The employer has claimed an exception under the Race Relations Act. The employer has also claimed an exemption under the Employment Equality regulations with regard to Religion or Belief due to strict religious requirements. This vacancy meets the requirements of the National Minimum Wage Act.
