We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team in Manchester. This role is focused on designing, developing, and delivering a new suite of financial reports using Power BI while leveraging advanced tools like SQL and Snowflake for data processing and visualization.
About the role
On a day-today basis this is what you would be doing:
Build and deploy Power BI dashboards to deliver meaningful financial insights.
Partner with stakeholders to gather and analyse reporting requirements.
Use SQL and Snowflake to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data into reporting systems.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity in data and reporting outputs.
Conduct testing and troubleshooting to ensure high performance and reliability of reports.
Create user training materials and documentation to support the adoption of new reporting tools.
Here is a quick tick list for the skills we are looking for:
Proven expertise in Power BI report development and management.
Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with Snowflake for data handling.
Comprehensive understanding of financial data structures and reporting needs.
Analytical thinker with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
Prior experience in a finance-related role is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to handle large datasets and optimize reporting performance.
