We are seeking a speech and language therapist to join our Early Language Speech and Language Therapy team. This is a team that supports children with difficulties with comprehension, expression, and speech. The successful applicant will work in community clinics, children and family centres, and various venues in Tower Hamlets.
You will be involved in universal, targeted, and specialist levels of support, and will have the opportunity to support ongoing development of the service. You will be working with parents and children under five in health and community venues. Our children have a range of needs and you will be involved in offering various interventions as well as raising awareness of early language development. The service as a whole works within the Care Aims framework and seeks to enable children to communicate more effectively and get the most out of home and school life. The team is a supportive and friendly one where your enthusiasm, empathy, and creativity will be welcomed.
We provide group clinical supervision, individual line management, a programme of in-house training and support, along with ad hoc support from experienced colleagues who will share your office base.
Our office is based at Mile End Hospital. Locations around Tower Hamlets are easily reached by walking, cycling, or using public transport.
